River Rock Property is a property management company that was quickly outgrowing their current location, so they desired a new location within the Tillstone development. Foss worked with Enclave Development on the masterplan of the Tillstone development located on the growing edge of south Fargo. The masterplan provides a comprehensive plan for up to seven commercial office & retail sites along with multi-family housing and amenity clubhouse for 314 residents.
The River Rock office is situated at the main entrance into the development and includes about 15,000 sf dedicated to their office, along with an additional 16,000 sf of leasable space. River Rock Property desired an office culture predicated on community and collaboration. While their office is broken into two floors, one for Leasing and one for Corporate, they wanted them to feel connected. Foss designed a building that creates a close-knit community through the use of open circulation, transparent workspaces, and a large multi-use classroom for interoffice and community events. The classroom opens to a large rooftop patio that overlooks the Tillstone pond.
