Farming and agriculture are businesses that have gotten more complex. As an agricultural business, you are a marketer, technician, strategist, and laborer. The main office and production facility for Total Ag Industries in Hillsboro, North Dakota was designed to efficiently function for the complexity of the company’s operation, workflow, and production process.

The new facility features a 14,650 S.F. corporate front office that includes a front lobby/ showroom, multiple offices, marketing display space and boardroom where vendors from across the region can meet and discuss new agricultural strategies.

The new facility also includes a 42,000 S.F. pre-engineered metal building that houses much of the company’s production operation. During the design and engineering development, the project utilized REVIT, a drafting software program that aids in coordination of all mechanical, electrical, structural, and building components.

The central core of Old Main will be opened up and utilized for premium gathering space. This allows the south-facing and north-facing plazas to become connected through the heart of the building, metaphorically bringing together campus & community while also improving accessibility and daylight access.
