Foss worked with Enclave Development on the masterplan of the Tillstone development located on the growing edge of south Fargo. The masterplan provides a comprehensive plan for up to seven commercial office & retail sites along with multi-family housing and amenity clubhouse for 314 residents.
With an architecture inspired by the area’s prairie heritage, the Tillstone development offers a modern take on today’s popular farmhouse design. Phase I of the project consisted of The Rye Apartments with two 59-unit apartment buildings and two 47-unit apartment buildings. Phase II consists of The Origin Apartments with 102 units above indoor covered parking.
Overlooking the pond is the community clubhouse which serves the entire residential development and has amenities such as outdoor patio & grill stations, yoga studio, fitness studio, golf simulator, pet spa, food market, and clubroom with kitchen & bar. A central lobby connects all the spaces and provides a stately volume with exposed wood beams and tall windows.
